What time can you have access?

Access is granted 24 hours from the bump-in date in coordination with the venue management team.

Who should you contact if you can’t access the building?

Contact the Operation Supervisor in case of difficulty accessing the site.

How can the venue be accessed via public transport?

Attached below is the venue location. (Search routes of the bus)

Which car park and entrance should the staff use?

A separate service gate is located at the BOH area.

Are there disabled parking spaces? How many are available and where are they located? Is there any charge for parking?

Yes, there are 9 parking spaces marked for special needs located on the south side of the FOH, specifically in the south VIP parking. There are no charges for parking spaces.

Is overflow parking available?

The venue will support with an overflow parking plan.

Does the venue provide car parking attendants?

Yes, it can be provided as an extra service at an added cost.

What is the unloading procedure?

Contact the facility supervisor with the vehicle details and any important information about the cars coming to unload. The security will be informed and will let the trucks in when they arrive. The venue Operation Supervisor will oversee the unloading procedure. Please note that there are restrictions for the unloading procedure attached with the site and over. Make sure you have read it before bumping in.

When must the venue be clear after the event?

That will be decided with the Venue management according to your production timeline. Please make sure to provide a production timeline schedule.

What AV, if any, is included in the venue hire?

Projection mapping on the venue façade. All these come at an added cost.

What are the policies for using outside vendors like production or AV companies? Do they have a preferred supplier list or any charges incurred if external suppliers are used?

You are free to bring in your own suppliers. The rigging will be done by a preferred vendor and will be supervised by the Head of Rigging of the venue.

Is the venue capable of providing the AV equipment you anticipate needing for the event? For example, can they provide enough channels and mics for your expected requirements?

Yes. Please provide a BOQ so we can support.

Would the venue provide a dedicated technician if you worked with their internal AV?

Yes, the venue will provide a technician.

Who do you contact in case of spillage, etc?

Contact your account manager, and they will inform the maintenance team.

How often will facilities such as toilets be checked, replenished, and cleaned?

This service is provided at an extra cost if you need the venue to manage the housekeeping during the production.

How many venue staff will be working on the event?

Only the account manager will be working with you. Other team members will be in their respective zones. If you require any additional manpower, the venue can provide it at an added cost.

Who is the main venue point of contact for the day of the event? Who do you contact in case of queries/requests?

The Account Manager.

Will radios be provided to contact key venue personnel? And/or mobile numbers?

A contact list of the venue team will be provided. You can provide a radio to the account manager to be a link between you and the venue team.

How quickly can you expect a response to your requests? Is your venue contact dedicated to your event?

Depending on the request: if the request is within the venue, it will be treated immediately. If it requires contact with outside parties, it will be addressed within the day, and the account manager will keep you updated.

Outline clearly the chain of command for your event and who from your team is authorized to give approval for any changes such as additional cleaning staff, etc.

Any approvals will go through the Venue Director.

When will deliveries for the event be accepted by the venue?

You can receive deliveries anytime during the production/event period as long as one of your team members receives them. If there are items that you want to store before your bump-in date, please coordinate with the facility manager.

Who needs to be made aware of the planned delivery details?

The account manager.

How will packages be collected/found?

If the package is to be collected from the venue, a delivery note will be signed, and the package received.

What is the HSE policy of the venue?

Please refer to the HSE policy to know more about the venue regulations. In case of any inquiry, please relay it to your account manager.

Are there any fire alarms planned during your event?

The venue is equipped with a fire alarm system. If you need to extend the system to a new space, the venue will support it. The venue can also support issuing permits.

What does the fire alarm sound like?

The fire alarm sounds like an ambulance siren.

What are the evacuation instructions for wheelchair users? Where are the refuge points?

The production company’s HSE team is requested to plan an evacuation plan suited for their event and present it to the venue team for confirmation. A general evacuation plan will be sent with the Tech package.

Where is the meeting point in case of evacuation?

General meeting points will be marked on the venue.

What opportunities does the venue offer for event branding (e.g., digital signage, wayfinder signs, posters, banners, flags, etc.)?

Yes, the venue provides these services at an added cost. We will provide an add-on services brochure for your reference

Can the venue supply you with a plan of all the power outlets in the areas and rooms you are using?

The electrical layout plan will be provided with the Tech package.

Does the venue charge for the use of wall outlets and power utilized?

No, the venue hire includes power.

Will additional power need to be brought in?

There is sufficient power in the venue. If you need to bring in additional power, the venue team will support by showing where to place the generators and connecting them to the main distribution box.

Will the venue provide a power technician if needed?

There is a power technician present in case of an emergency and for maintenance. If you need the technician to be involved in your production, contact the Operation Supervisor.

What’s the rigging policy for the venue? Do they have strict rules regarding lifts and how they’re operated in their facility?

The venue has a team that takes care of the rigging. Please refer to the rigging layout and the rigging points price list. For any inquiries, the venue Technical Manager will support with whatever is needed.

Does the venue own any heavy machinery or will they have to be brought in? How much do they charge?

The venue owns a boom lift and a forklift. These will be charged per day. Please refer to the add-on services brochure for more information. For any other requirements, we will provide a requirement list.

Are our technicians allowed to use them, or must they be facility personnel?

Whoever operates the equipment from your side should be licensed. The venue team will also supervise the operations.

Do they require insurance? Specific training/license?

It is preferred to have a license.

Is any security provided by the venue?

Yes, there is security that guards the gates only (2 main gates and 1 service gate). The security will not be involved in the event. We will request your coordination for the live days to guide them on entry credentials.

Is it possible to increase the security provision if your event requires it?

If you request extra gate security, it will be at an added cost. For event security or VVIP security, please refer to the add-on services brochure.

Does the venue have airport-style security scanners or any other security measures?

The venue owns security gates and provides them for rental.

Can they provide desks/tables and chairs as required?

You can use the venue with the current furniture. If you need more choices, please refer to the add-on services brochure to see the available options.

What are the options for event signage? Is digital signage available? If so, what format should the information be supplied in, to whom should it be sent, and by when? Can it be easily changed on the day? And how?

Signages are available, and you can change the branding on them. Digital signage is also available. Please contact the account manager to be linked with the technical manager for more information about content programming. Changes can be made on the day with coordination.

Can the venue provide any cool furniture for the stage or chill-out areas?

Yes, at a rental cost. Please refer to the add-on services list for more information.

What are the available speeds for Internet access and how does the venue charge for them?

The speed is 25 MB. If you require additional coverage or speed, you will need to inform the account manager so they can facilitate your request through the IT department. Please refer to the add-on services list to check the prices.

How can the production team access the WiFi?

There is general WiFi available, and each room has a poster with the venue WiFi name and password.

Are there too many competing WiFi networks in the area, degrading the signal? Is the wireless network password protected and secured using encryption?

Please refer to the add-on services brochure for information on network security and any potential issues with competing WiFi networks.

Can you specify the network name and password for your event?

Yes, it can be done. Please refer to the add-on services brochure.

Can I rent all the spaces for a single event?

Are there prayer areas in the venue?

There are prayer areas located in different zones in Mayadeen venue.

Is there WiFi coverage?

Yes, WiFi coverage is available across Mayadeen.

Are there facilities for people with special needs?

Yes, WC, parking lots, ramps etc are all available to facilitate special needs guests.
